Every Lumberjax Home Run Will Help Fund Tree Planting Efforts Through Season-Long Community Campaign
The Colorado Lumberjax Baseball Club announced today the launch of “Swing For The Trees,” a new season-long community initiative that will turn every Lumberjax home run during the 2026 season into a positive environmental impact.
As part of the initiative, the Lumberjax will donate toward tree planting efforts at the conclusion of the season based on the total number of home runs hit by the team throughout the year. The campaign is designed to connect the excitement of baseball with a larger mission of environmental stewardship and community impact across Colorado.
“Swing For The Trees is about creating something bigger than baseball,” said the Colorado Lumberjax. “Every time our players step up to the plate, there’s an opportunity to make a lasting impact both on and off the field. We’re excited to involve our fans, partners, and community in a campaign that grows throughout the entire season.”
The initiative will feature:
A season-long home run tracker online and at the ballpark
Limited-edition Swing For The Trees merchandise
Community engagement and awareness campaigns throughout the season
End-of-season donations supporting tree planting and environmental restoration efforts
Fans will be able to follow the campaign throughout the season as the Lumberjax home run total and corresponding tree impact continues to grow.
The organization hopes the campaign inspires fans and community partners to rally around sustainability initiatives and local environmental awareness efforts.

The 2026 season marks another step forward in the Lumberjax commitment to building a baseball experience centered around community, creativity, and impact across Colorado.
